The inaugural Finska Open of Tasmania title could be yours! The Finska Open of Tasmania is open to first time players and those with experience in a team of 2 people. The minimum player age is 12 with no maximum age limit.

64 teams of 2 will play a round robin tournament facing off against all the other teams in their pool. From the pool stage the top-ranking teams will play off for the Tasmanian Championship trophy. The remaining teams will play on for the chance to win the B title.

Registrations are on a first in basis, so make sure to get in early to avoid disappointment as the tournament is limited to 64 teams.

The Finska Open of Tasmania is being run in conjunction with the Lions Club of Scottsdale Spud Fest. The team registration fee is $30 (plus booking fee) and this will give you free access to the Spud Fest zone. Access to the Finska zone will be from the Scottsdale Recreation Ground and access to that area is free. Limited food and drinks will be available in the Finska zone.

The Tasmanian Championship winners will take home $500 cash with prizes for the runners-up, plate winners and runners-up with spot prizes to be won also.

Join in the fun and see how the skittles fall for you! The tournament is about coming together to chuck wood, testing your luck, nerve and skill. Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and organisers reserve the right to remove any player, team or spectator.

The Tasmanian Finska Open takes place on 14 March in Scottsdale, alongside Spud Fest 🎉
